Highly recommend! We had an amazing experience designing an engagement ring with Adele. We also purchased a box chain that we love. Working with Ginevra to design our engagement ring was seamless! Her knowledge about the design process and clear and concise communication helped us feel assured the entire time that our ring would turn out perfectly. Our expectations were exceeded and the beauty of the ring did not disappoint. Would 1,000% recommend working Ginevra. We also purchased a vintage watch from her. We are so lucky to call her our jeweler and we will be returning! If I could give more stars I absolutely would not hesitate. We have worked with Adèle for a few years now. She worked with me last minute to get an engagement ring designed and made before I travelled. We then went back for our wedding bands, and wedding ring, as well as a ring to celebrate our daughter's birth. Their watch selection is also great :) They have been so great to us. The quality of service is second to none and they are always so kind! We look forward to going back again and again!! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Adele Chapman to find my wedding bands and we couldn't be more grateful for her help and expertise. Adele was very attentive, understanding and truly went above and beyond to make the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.

We were drawn to Secrete because of their expertise in resetting family jewelry, and we stayed because they were the only jeweler we talked to in DC that could provide us confidence about the provenance of the new diamonds we would be adding. Since then, we have purchased both of our wedding bands and our wedding gifts to each other at Secrete. Adele provided expert guidance to us every step of the way, and the service at Secrete has been second to none - stopping by the store to make selections and pick things up was one of the highlights of our wedding planning process. It was a huge bonus that they are a local, family business. We have been recommending them to everyone, and we Secrete will continue to be our go-to for years to come. I got two watches from a Bolivian street market in 2020, so they aren’t really expensive but they are special to me because I bought them on an international trip. Anyway, I took these watches in Secrète fine jewelry in DuPont circle because the batteries were out and the links needed adjusting to my wrist. I was greeted warmly and my issues were addressed timely by Ginevra. I thought I needed links removed, but actually my watch has a band that allows it to be adjusted without removing links. She showed me how to do that free of charge. She asked if I was a “collector” and Im like no but I am interested in starting a collection. Ginerva gives me the run down of Hamilton Watches and I think I have a new favorite brand. They are affordable but expensive enough to feel like a big gift to yourself. I have myself a new jeweler. Five stars for Secrète fine jewelry. We got our engagement and wedding rings here and couldn't recommend Secrète more highly. They were always very helpful, especially Ginevra, who worked with us through the whole process. They give us free cleanings whenever we go in there (the rings sparkle like crazy after), and they've made it super easy when we've had to deal with repairs. Go there and ask for Ginevra! I went in to get my wife's wedding ring repaired as the band had broken. Emily Wang assisted me throughout the process with the utmost professionalism I was hoping for. I was looking to get a slightly thicker band to fit the diamond and Emily knew exactly what would work. Anyone needing any jewelry repair services should absolutely visit this fine establishment. Thank you for the amazing service! My watch of ten years was losing time, a little every few days. The maker suggested it needed to be demagnetized. I live in rural PA and watch shops are not easily found. I decided to take my watch to Secrete while on a work trip to DC. They were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure shipping the watch would be no problem. They provided a quick estimate by phone and the repairs and cleaning were completed ahead of schedule. My watch looks and work great. I highly recommend Secrete for any watch purchase or repair, even if you don't live in the area. Very satisfied customer! DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER. I brought my vintage Omega watch into the shop last year to have a part of the movement serviced. I received a notification to pick up the watch but unfortunately could not for some time. When I went in to pick up the watch I was told that they could not locate it, but not to worry as they were looking into it and would notify me when it was found. Weeks went by and periodically I would check in by calling the shop only to be blown off by the staff or told that the owner would call me back (which he did not). Finally I went into the store physically to see if I could get more information and yet nobody had any. Finally when I felt like I was out of options I wrote a negative review detailing my experience with the shop and voila! The owner, Eli, called me wanting to "make things right" (meaning he wanted me to take down my negative review). He invited me into the store and began trying to negotiate with me to take my review down. He offered me to pick a new watch from his shop that was supposedly "nicer" than the one I had previously entrusted him with but was obviously trying to steer me towards ones that I knew were not on par. I tried to be nice about it but he continued to downplay the value of my watch that he had lost. With the negotiation going nowhere he offered me a supposedly "very nice" watch from a brand I had never heard of that he claimed was twice the market value of my lost watch because it was gold. Seeing the negotiation going nowhere, I unfortunately believed him. To close the encounter, he made it extremely clear that it was important that I take down my negative review, and even called me on my cell phone to remind me. Now as I am looking to get another watch elsewhere, I wanted to see what value I could get out of the watch that he had compensated me with. Turns out next to nothing! A reputable watch dealer informed me that instead of it being "gold" it was in fact gold plated and that while SOME watches from the brand had decent market value, the one he had negotiated me into had nearly zero because it was not a chronograph. PLEASE nobody make the same mistake that I made trusting the owner or I guarantee he will try to take advantage of you too.
