Dominique was sweet right from the start. My fiancé and I walked in not knowing what to expect. She greeted us as soon as we walked in and was helpful from start to finish. Being LGBT I felt hesitant going in at first, however she was very kind, inclusive, knowledgeable and made us feel safe. She was accommodating when we couldn’t find the rings that we wanted and made sure we left satisfied. We were able to find exactly what we wanted and would definitely recommend going in. Thank you! My fiancé purchased a ring for me from Kay Jewelers as a Christmas gift, and sadly, I’ve only been able to wear it for less than three weeks total—even though it’s now May. Since receiving it, I’ve had to return to Kay’s over five times because stones kept falling out. Each time, the ring was sent off for repairs, which took what felt like over three weeks to get back.

While I understand that the employees at my local Kay’s aren’t personally at fault, I’ve repeatedly expressed how frustrating it is to keep coming back for the same issue. Today, they finally deemed the ring defective and offered me a brand-new replacement, which I appreciated. I was told by one associate that the new lifetime warranty would cost about $10. However, during checkout, the manager stepped in and informed me that I couldn’t actually purchase the warranty today due to an ongoing sale in their system—meaning I’d have to return again just to finalize the process. On top of that, I was told the warranty would actually be $55 instead of $10—not a huge deal, but the lack of consistency was frustrating.

So once again, I left the store without my ring and will have to return for a sixth time. At this point, I just want to wear the ring my fiancé gave me without all the hassle. The most disappointing part is that I asked multiple times over the past few months for the ring to be deemed defective, and only now did they agree—after all this time and trouble.

I was truly excited when they said I’d finally get a replacement, but that excitement quickly turned into more frustration when I realized I still couldn’t take it home. Once this is resolved, I won’t be doing business with Kay’s again. Went to Kay's looking for a gold chain for my wife's birthday. Dominique was wonderful. She Was a lot of help she walked me through the store and showed my several different gold chains and gave me advice on what is the she felt was the best option. I picked one out and got a discount on top of it. She also wrapped it for me. I couldn't have been any happier with the service. Thank you Dominique and the Kay's team for all your help over the years. Cannot say enough good things about the southern pines location - specifically Dominique and David. They took an issue that was not from their store and turned it around to an amazing outcome for me. Dominique put so much hard work into correcting my issue and I so appreciate her more than words!!!! Dominique was great!!! Taught me a great deal about diamonds and helped me to make an educated choice for my set! We had a fantastic experience with the service my husband and I reserved—it completely blew us away! A huge shoutout to Bianca for her incredible dedication, knowledge, and support. She helped us make the best choices and explained every product we were interested in. We felt so welcomed and truly loved every moment of our time there! It was an unforgettable experience! I wanted to up grade my diamond only and they were so helpful! Kenna and Brent both helped with getting it done! Great customer service! Ask for them and you won’t be disappointed! I absolutely love my upgraded ring. Hannah was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout all of my questions! She was super bubbly and you could tell she really loves jewelry. This store has a create selection and the prices are very reasonable! I will definitely be coming back! Dominique was fantastic!!!! Very professional, knowledgeable, and fantastic customer service. She treated us with love, care, and respect. Can’t wait to continue to business with her!!! Kenna was exceptionally helpful in helping me choose the right diamond band as a Christmas gift for my aunt Friday morning!! Her kindness, knowledge and professionalism was fantastic. I highly recommend her if you are seeking any professional knowledge, while visiting this location. She definitely deserves recognition and a bonus for offering such great service to the community at the Kay’s in Southern Pines, NC.
